What You Need Before You Register

The registration process at Playtech designed to be as simple and quick as possible. You don't need much – just make sure you have the following ready before you start:

• An active Malaysian phone number – for OTP verification and account security communications
• A valid email address – for account notifications, promotions and identity verification if required
• Malaysian payment methods – Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow or a bank account for FPX
• Aged 18 and above – this is a mandatory requirement with no exceptions; Playtech strictly complies with Malaysian law

Important Information About Account Security

Account Security Playtech is a shared responsibility. Here are the best practices we recommend to every new member:

Choose a strong password – at least 8 characters combining uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. Avoid using your date of birth or anything easily guessed. Never share your password with anyone, including family members – each individual must register their own account at Playtech.

After registering, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) under your account security settings for an added layer of protection. This is strongly recommended, especially if you plan to keep a significant balance in your account.

Playtech will never ask for your password via email, SMS or phone. If you receive any such communication, it is a phishing attempt – do not click any links and contact our support team immediately.
